Corbett Youth Initiative:  After School Program

For grades 3-4-5

Mondays after school: September 17 - October 22

3:45 - 5:00 pm at CAPS

Fall Programming Held at the Springdale Children's Garden

This after school program is designed to build skills in empathy and conflict resolution, teaches
respect for all people, and promotes environmental awareness. Activities focus on enhancing
communication skills, mindful movement including yoga and meditation and building self-esteem .
Our goal is for youth to gain practical skills as they engage with self, family and community.

$90 for 6 weeks

Facilitated by Mikaila Way, a Corbett resident, long term volunteer/educator for SSCA and PVG.
She has co-lead the 345 and middle school garden class at CAPS, and also offers middle and
high school leadership development programming.
