This training is for all those interested in the work of empowering peace makers. We look forward to engaging with funders, teachers, youth workers and community organizers. We will cover our broad philosophy of peace education, concrete ways to teach peace, and sample lesson plans. We will use Peace Village Global’s award-winning model, which rests upon four major foundations: Mindfulness, Connection to Nature, Media Literacy and Conflict Resolution. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of this successful model, strategies for implementing this material into multiple educational settings, including school classrooms, summer camps, and after school programs.
